These General Terms & Conditions (“GTC”) govern all quotes, sales orders, fabrication, installation, and related services provided by Classic Rock Fabrication (“CRF”). All transactions are expressly subject to these GTC.

Quotes

All quotes are based on information provided at the time of issuance by the client and are subject to field verification and template. Quotes are valid for thirty (30) days from the date of issuance unless otherwise stated. Quotes not converted to a sales order within this period may expire and be subject to repricing.

Sales Orders and Pricing

Pricing is valid for ninety (90) days from the date of issuance. Sales orders with approved payment terms may be issued without a deposit; however, pricing and material are not locked in beyond ninety (90) days unless a deposit is received. Where approved payment terms are not in place, a deposit is required to schedule production or installation. Material availability is confirmed when material is ordered, which typically occurs once your project is scheduled. Material is not reserved at time of order unless a deposit is received to secure project-specific material. Deposits used to secure material authorize CRF to order project-specific material and are non-refundable once material is ordered. Orders without a deposit are subject to repricing after (90) days.

Field Verification and Changes

Client understands that the project cannot be templated until all cabinets and other supporting structures have been completely installed. All sales orders are subject to field verification and template. The final price will be confirmed after a physical, on-site template measurement is completed. Any changes to the scope of work (material, edge profile, square footage, etc.) after the estimate is approved may result in a price change.

Fixtures and Seams

All sinks, faucets, cooktops, and other related hardware and appliances must be available at time of templating to ensure proper fit. If faucet or accessory requirements are not provided at template, a single centered hole will be drilled by default. Additional holes or changes after template are subject to additional charges.

Seams are inherent to stone surfaces and are visible and may be felt. Our seams conform to the Marble Institute of America’s guidelines. Seam placement is determined by CRF using digital slab visualization tools based on slab geometry, safety, transportation, and site conditions.

As part of our services, we offer Slabsmith® digital layout to allow you to visualize how your countertop will appear prior to fabrication. Layout preferences that deviate from standard slab geometry, orientation, or seam placement may require additional material and result in additional charges.

Scope of Work

CRF’s scope is limited to countertop fabrication and installation. The client must provide a clear and safe path for our installers the carry stone into the home. Finish work beyond installation, including but not limited to trim, drywall, plumbing, electrical, painting, caulking, or work behind splashes—is excluded and remains the responsibility of the client.

Review and Acceptance

All quotes, sales orders, and drawings must be reviewed for accuracy. Failure to report discrepancies prior to fabrication constitutes acceptance as issued.

Warranty

CRF provides a one (1) year workmanship warranty on seams, fabrication, sink installation, silicone, and installation, excluding physical damage and natural material characteristics. Chips are covered for thirty (30) days from installation. Material-specific disclosures, waivers, and manufacturer warranties apply where applicable.

Taxes and Finance Charges

All amounts may be subject to applicable sales tax unless a valid exemption is provided. Past-due balances are subject to a 1.5% monthly finance charge or the maximum rate permitted by law.
